Building a Legacy
In 2018, founders Dr. Rainey Yan and Aaron Tong recognised a gap in Asia’s luxury F&B market:
caviar was still viewed as distant, exclusive, and unattainable.
They envisioned a brand built not only on scarcity and prestige, but on authenticity,
brand value, and the rising regional demand for caviar in Malaysia.
That vision took root at the Amur River, where they became investors in a boutique sturgeon farm,
committing to the long, patient journey it takes
— often close to a decade for sturgeon to produce their first roe.
In December 2024, the journey came full circle:
Elegant Fine Caviar was born. A brand shaped by time, taste, and timeless value,
proudly placing Malaysia on the global caviar map.
Over the years, the brand began shaping its identity through innovative experiences and activations.
From Malaysia’s first roving Caviar Angel, serving spoonfuls of indulgence at luxury events,
to interactive tastings and curated pairings, Elegant Fine Caviar redefined how
Malaysians encounter this delicacy making it both approachable and aspirational.
